Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Computed Tomography)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at Army Health Clinic, Moncrief, Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Recruitment and Relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Salary negotiation MAY be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Receives and reviews requests from physicians and other health care providers for CT examinations of patients.</p><p>Determines the condition(s) at issue and the procedures and equipment necessary to best meet the needs of the individual case.</p><p>Selects, sets up, adjusts, and operates the CT equipment.</p><p>Extends and modifies procedure to insure full and accurate information as to findings and patient condition.</p><p>Observe and report patient responses to instructions, movement, and touch.</p><p>Assists radiologist or physician in reading or evaluating results.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
