Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Computed Tomography)

<p>About the Position: This position located at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital on Fort Campbell, KY in the Radiology department. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Performs a full range of diagnostic Computed Tomography examinations/procedures to include neurological, chest, abdominal, extremity, body and musculoskeletal.</p><p>Performs a variety of routine and non-routine complex radiographic examinations.</p><p>Receives, reviews and schedules requests in order of priority from physicians and other health care providers.</p><p>Explains method of procedure to patients, positions patient, selects and sets technical factors, prepares and adjusts accessory equipment required and makes exposures necessary for the requested procedures.</p><p>Performs post processing functions in the Picture Archival Communication System (PACS) such as to review, evaluate and orientate images prior to transmittal.</p>
