Dental Laboratory Technician

<p>About the Position: This position is located in the Dental Lab, Army Health Clinic Kenner located at Fort Lee, VA. The primary purpose is to perform full range of technical work in the fabrication and repair of fixed prostheses and models. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal Service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Operate and provide instruction in the use of the most recent CAD/CAM technology to fabricate metal-free esthetic restorations.</p><p>Fabricate porcelain veneers for crowns, fixed dental prostheses, implant restorations, and all-ceramic crowns through the application of appropriate ceramo-metal techniques.</p><p>Design and fabricate Flexible Removable Partials and Implant Retained acrylic dentures.</p><p>Prepare orthodontic set ups and fabricates other appliances such as night guards, splints, stents, sleep apnea devices, and tooth positiondevices.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
