Dental Hygienist

<p>About the Position: The Dental Hygienist is responsible for performing advanced prophylactic and preventive procedures in the treatment of patients with related medical and dental problems. The hygienist will work at one of the various dental clinics across the installation. Primary working hours are Monday - Friday, 0715 - 1615, excluding federal holidays. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Perform complete and advanced oral prophylaxis and other dental hygienist procedures on ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients.</p><p>Manage radiographic images including bite wing, periapical, and panoramic x-rays.</p><p>Maintain patient's record of treatment within automated healthcare system.</p><p>Complete patient preparation for dental hygiene treatment.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
