Dental Hygienist

<p>About the Position: This position is located at the 9th Medical Group in Beale Air Force Base, California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Review patient’s medical and dental history for evidence of past and present conditions.</p><p>Prepare for dental hygiene treatment and preliminary dental examinations.</p><p>Interpret routine x-rays to identify tooth structures, calculus, and abnormalities.</p><p>Maintain patients’ record of treatment.</p><p>Perform postoperative care and provides oral hygiene instruction to patients.</p><p>Provide dental hygiene training to other dental service personnel.</p><p>Perform specialized oral prophylaxes and preventative dental hygiene procedures.</p>
