<p>About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center's Clinical Dentistry in El Paso, Texas. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Assist the oral surgeon in the hospital operating room in a variety of complex oral maxillofacial procedures that involve lengthy, delicate surgery.</p><p>Prepare and place surgical dressings, remove contaminated instruments, and cut sutures on direction.</p><p>Operate dental X-ray equipment to take intra and extra-oral radiographs.</p><p>Obtain and record related medical history of patient, and route patient for medical tests and services when required.</p><p>Perform a variety of scrub duties in preparation for intraoral and extraoral procedures.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
