<p>About the Position: Location- Naval Hospital Beaufort Audiology Hearing Conservation Hours of work- 7-3:30pm This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide direct patient care.</p><p>Responsible for accuracy of patient evaluations and recommendations.</p><p>Counsel patients and family members regarding diagnosis and treatment options.</p><p>Provide independent quality audiological services for all categories of patients eligible to receive authorized health care.</p><p>Ensure that hearing conservation testing is conducted and recorded in accordance with regulations.</p><p>Plans, conducts and coordinates aural rehab, tinnitus and or vestibular rehab programs for patients.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
