<p>About the Position: This position is located within David Grant Medical Center, 60th Medical Group, Travis Air Force Base. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provide consultative assistance to other military medical treatment facilities in the area as needed on diagnostic site of lesion testing and rehabilitative audiology.</p><p>Diagnose degrees of communication disorders created by hearing loss and other potentially complicating factors.</p><p>Manage the Hearing Program and the Hearing Readiness Support for the organization.</p><p>Perform patient assessments and evaluations in accordance with clinic standard operating procedures</p><p>Counsels’ patients or parents for pediatric patient to provide instruction in the use of hearing aids.</p><p>Use appropriate regulatory guidance to determine eligibility for care as it relates to active duty, retired service members and their families.</p><h3>Education</h3>FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
