Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Anesthetist)

<p>About the Position: This position is located at WINN Army Medical Hospital, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Provides independent, comprehensive anesthesia care for obstetric and surgical patients within a Military Treatment Facility.</p><p>Identifies emergency situations and critical changes in patients’ status; notifies surgeon and seeks assistance from the perioperative and anesthesia teams as needed.</p><p>Administers anesthesia via the most appropriate method for each patient’s procedure.</p><p>Determines the optimal type and method of anesthesia care to administer for a broad range of surgical procedures at the MTF</p><p>Renders life-saving care and procedures in emergency situations</p><h3>Education</h3>See Qualifications section for Education Requirements.
