Advanced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (IR/Vascular/X-ray)

<p>The Advanced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs complex imaging exams, ensures high-quality diagnostic results, supports physicians during specialized procedures, and maintains safe, efficient workflow in the radiology service.</p><h3>Major Duties</h3><p>Primary Duties, but not limited too: - Perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures (CT, MRI, or specialized modalities based on facility needs). - Ensure accurate patient identification, positioning, and safety throughout all exams. - Operate complex imaging equipment and troubleshoot technical issues. - Review imaging for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists on exam needs. - Assist providers with specialized or interventional radiology procedures. - Maintain radiation safety standards and monitor equipment functionality. - Document imaging procedures accurately in the electronic health record. - Provide patient education about imaging processes and post-procedure instructions. - Support workflow efficiency through exam scheduling, room preparation, and equipment readiness. - Participate in quality assurance, continuing education, and accreditation compliance activities.
